Chinese style painting. The painter started with splashing ink and colors method, also known as "ink and wash style" described by Gao Yanqun in an article "Chinese spirit of ink and wash paintings", and completed with fine details.
This painting depicts lush green mountains in the Spring time. When it was originally completed in 1985 there were no birds in the composition. Thirty years later in 2015 the painter carefully added a group of red-crowned cranes that lends the sense of motion and "a way out" to the otherwise timeless but still scene.
98 cm x 91 cm (approximated 38.5x35.8 inches, unframed). Painted in 1985.
The original artwork is not be for sale at this time. Hi-def Giclée reproduction prints can be purchased, unframed. Please contact us for price and availability.
