 (Born 1892) Irene McDonald was born in San Francisco in September, 1892. According to Edan Hughes she was a resident of San Francisco at least through 1924. She was known to be a commercial artist, a watercolorist and an oil painter. She was known to live at 260 S. 15th Street in San Jose by the 1930s and a San Jose City Directory for 1970 shows her to be living at the same address, referring to her as Irene M, the Widow James. Her painting “California Coast” was titled verso along with the artist’s San Jose address. Work Available For Sale |
