 William Earle Bell was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 27, 1908. He was in the U. S. Navy in 1930 while stationed in Norfolk, Virginia. He later moved to southern California and settled in San Diego County. He had a home in La Mesa at 7021 Stanford until his death on October 30, 1989.
